Get closer
to the waveform.
- Edit a selection
- Delete, copy, insert-paste or extract a selection into a new file. Snap selection edges to zero crossings to fine-tune your edit points.
- Shape fades and levels
- Choose from five fade-in and fade-out curves. Normalize to a target peak level or adjust gain by a specific number of decibels.
- Listen to the loop seam
- Use Seam to audition the transition from the loop end back to its start. Set markers to export the loop region as LOOPSTART and LOOPLENGTH tags in an OGG file.
- Export in the format you need
- Export WAV at 16-bit, 24-bit or 32-bit float, or choose OGG Vorbis or MP3. Imports use the original sample rate and show a warning if it cannot be preserved.
QUICK START
Open a file.
Select a range.
- Open CARVE, then drop an audio file such as WAV, AIFF, FLAC or MP3 into the editor, or select it with Open.
- Drag across the waveform to select a range. Adjust fades, levels or loop points.
- Choose an output format and click Export to save your audio file.
Audio is not uploaded to a server. OGG and MP3 export need a network connection to load the encoder. A desktop or laptop is recommended for precise waveform editing.
